Donostia San Sebastiรกn Klasikoa Women 2026

The DSSK Women returns to the Basque Country in 2026 after a multi-year absence. The race was last held in 2021, when Annemiek van Vleuten dominated the punchy Basque terrain with a solo attack.

The route uses the same coastal hills and steep finishing climbs that define the men’s Klasikoa. Riders coming off the Tour de France Femmes will carry July form into August terrain that rewards climbing aggression and race-reading in equal measure.

Demi Vollering, Lotte Kopecky, Katarzyna Niewiadoma, and Elisa Longo Borghini are the type of riders this course suits, though the field will depend on which teams prioritize the race over recovery. No startlist is confirmed yet.
