Trofeo Tessile and Moda 2026 Preview: The Climb to Oropa Decides Everything

Trofeo Tessile and Moda 2026 finishes atop the Oropa climb above Biella. The summit finish rewards climbers who manage the early terrain and still have legs for the steep closing ramps.

Trofeo Tessile & Moda – Valdengo Oropa 2026

Trofeo Tessile and Moda returns to the Biella textile district with a route that winds through valleys and low hills before the defining final climb to the Sanctuary of Oropa. Adam Yates won the 2025 edition by outsprinting Mathys Rondel at the summit, confirming that the Oropa climb is selective enough to drop pure sprinters but not so brutal that only mountain specialists survive. The closing three kilometers include steeper ramps that punish riders who spent too much energy earlier, and positioning into the base of the climb matters. The 2026 startlist will likely feature riders using this as a form check ahead of the final calendar block alongside climbers who see the summit finish as a target result.
