Tour of Norway Women 2026 route overview

4 stages

The race is typically decided by a combination of climbing ability and time-trial strength, with GC gaps opening on summit finishes or against the clock. Coastal stages can splinter on exposed roads when the wind picks up, and the compact schedule means recovery between efforts is tight. Expect the route to include at least one uphill finish and one individual time trial, with the final day often featuring rolling terrain that allows for late attacks but rarely overturns a strong GC position. Breakaways can succeed on transitional stages, but the race is usually won by riders who can limit losses on the climbs and gain time in the race against the clock.
