Lyon – Torino 2026 did not take place. The new race was planned for July 1 to 3 as a stage race from Lyon to Turin, with four stages in three days and an uphill time trial among them. In April its Italian organizer, ExtraGiro, decided not to hold it, DirectVelo reported. It would have been the first edition. A-Vélo, the French organizer that was due to help with the opening stage, is working on a 2027 edition, according to Tuttobiciweb, and the UCI calendar lists the race for June 29 to July 1, 2027.
