La Flèche Wallonne 2026: Evenepoel and Ayuso lead the Mur de Huy shortlist

The 90th La Fleche Wallonne covers 209 kilometers from Ciney to Huy on April 22. Three ascents of the Mur de Huy shape the day, but only the final climb decides it.

The route includes the Cote d’Ereffe and Cote de Cherave before the triple dose of the Mur. The 1.3-kilometer wall with gradients reaching 26 percent turns the race into a test of timing and uphill power.

Remco Evenepoel and Thomas Pidcock lead the favorites. Christian Scaroni, Juan Ayuso, Giulio Ciccone, Ben Healy, Romain Gregoire, and Matteo Jorgenson add depth to a field built for the Mur.
