Tour of Norway Women 2026 did not take place. The race was planned for May 30 to June 1 with three stages, one more than in 2025, and a move up to the UCI ProSeries. On December 8, 2025, the organizer canceled the whole Tour of Norway for 2026, the men’s race included, after the national budget dropped the state’s contribution to the event. The organizer said it hopes to bring the race back in 2027 if it finds the money. In October 2026 it reported that the government’s budget proposal again leaves the race out, and that it has asked parliament to restore the funding. The UCI calendar lists a 2027 race for May 29 to 31, which the organizer says it cannot hold without that money.
