The 2026 Tour du Doubs did not take place. The 41st edition of the one-day race in eastern France was planned for April 19. In December 2025 the organizing club, VC Morteau-Montbenoît, put the race on hold for a year. Costs have risen while sponsorship has stayed flat, and the club chose to put the time and people the race takes into its women’s team and its cycling school, France 3 reported. Race director Fabien Vardanéga told France 3 there is no doubt about a 2027 edition, in a new version of the race.
