The 10th anniversary Tour of the Alps runs from Innsbruck to Bolzano across 760 kilometers and 14,620 meters of elevation. It is the last sustained climbing test before the Giro d’Italia.

The opening stage around Innsbruck features four short climbs and could suit a fast finisher. Stage 2 from Telfs to Val Martello delivers the first mountain-top finish with an eight-percent final climb. The closing stage from Trento to Bolzano packs the Montoppio and Cologna di Sopra climbs into a decisive circuit.

Seven WorldTour teams are confirmed. Michael Storer returns as defending champion. Giulio Pellizzari, Derek Gee, Florian Lipowitz, and Ben Healy headline the GC contenders sharpening form before the Giro.
