UAE Tour Women 2026 Preview | Route, Stages, Startlist, Favorites

The 2026 UAE Tour Women keeps the familiar winning formula: three sprint-heavy stages, one decisive climb to Jebel Hafeet, and enough wind exposure to punish anyone who treats the early days as routine.

The UAE Tour Women 2026 edition page is now anchored by a fully confirmed four-stage route. Stage 1 runs 111km from Al Mirfa to Madinat Zayed, stage 2 covers 145km from Dubai Police Academy to Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, stage 3 brings 121km from Abu Dhabi TeamLab Phenomena to Abu Dhabi Breakwater, and stage 4 finishes the race with the 156km climb stage from Al Ain Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium to Jebel Hafeet.

Route

The route remains compact and very legible. The first three stages are built for fast finishes, but the exposed roads in the desert and around the cities still make positioning a constant priority. Jebel Hafeet is once again the stage that should settle the red jersey, especially because the climb comes after enough sprint and bonus-second tension to keep the overall close.

Stages

Use the stages page for the stage-by-stage structure and the linked stage previews for the tactical read on each day. The race opens with a desert sprint run-in, then moves to Dubai and Abu Dhabi before the final climb in Al Ain.

Startlist

The official pre-race start-list announcement highlighted Elisa Longo Borghini, Lorena Wiebes, Marlen Reusser, Katarzyna Niewiadoma, Kim Le Court Pienaar, Silvia Persico, Niamh Fisher-Black, Juliette Labous, Charlotte Kool, Chiara Consonni and other major names. The local startlist page currently carries a conservative imported roster built only from officially evidenced participation.

Favorites

Longo Borghini entered the race as the clearest GC reference, but Niewiadoma, Reusser, Kim Le Court and Persico all had real routes into the podium once the race hit Jebel Hafeet. On the flat stages, Wiebes stayed the benchmark, with Kool, Consonni, Daria Pikulik, Georgia Baker and Martina Fidanza among the main sprint threats.
