The Elfstedenronde was not held in 2026. The one-day race around Bruges had been listed for June 14. In June 2025 the city of Bruges announced that it would stop hosting the race, because from 2026 it hosts the Ronde van Brugge, the former Classic Brugge-De Panne, on March 25 and 26, Sporza reported. The organizer, Golazo, then meant to keep the Elfstedenronde with a start and finish outside Bruges. That plan was dropped, Wielerflits reported in June 2026, and the race is not on the UCI’s 2026 calendar or on Golazo’s own calendar. Paul Magnier won the most recent edition, on June 15, 2025.
