Tour de France 2027 stage 21: Paris and Montmartre

The Tour ends on the Champs-Élysées after 116 km from Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and three climbs of Montmartre.

Stage 21 of the 2027 Tour de France runs 116 km from Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines to the Champs-Élysées in Paris on Sunday, July 25, with three climbs of the Butte Montmartre before the finish. ASO rates it flat, with about 800 meters of climbing.

Montmartre and the rue Lepic return for a third year in a row, after their debut in 2025.

In 2025 Wout van Aert won after attacking on the last ascent of Montmartre and riding alone to the Champs-Élysées, and the overall classification was neutralized after rain began. In 2026 the stage was cut from 132.5 km to 88.7 km because security staff were redeployed to wildfires in the Gironde, and Mathieu van der Poel won on the Champs-Élysées in a photo finish.

Cyclingnews calls the run to the Champs-Élysées anything but a guarantee for the sprinters, and neither of the last two editions ended in a classic bunch sprint.
