UEC Cyclo-cross European Championships 2026

Six titles are decided over the two days. On Saturday the junior women start at 11:00 a.m., the under-23 men at 1:00 p.m. and the elite women at 3:00 p.m., for a race of 50 minutes. On Sunday the junior men start at 11:00 a.m., the under-23 women at 1:00 p.m. and the elite men at 3:00 p.m., for 60 minutes. The times may still be adjusted for television.

The 2025 championships were in Middelkerke in Belgium. Toon Aerts won the elite men's title there, nine years after he had won it in Pontchâteau in 2016. The race was decided late, when Aerts and the title holder, Thibau Nys, rode away from the others, and Aerts won the sprint. Joran Wyseure made it three Belgians on the podium, ahead of Pim Ronhaar.

Inge van der Heijden led the elite women's race from the start and was not caught in its six laps. Sara Casasola chased the Dutch riders for a long time until she fell in the sand on the second-to-last lap, and Lucinda Brand finished second on an all-Dutch podium. In the under-23 races Mattia Agostinacchio moved up from seventh position in the last two laps to win alone, and Leonie Bentveld won by more than a minute.
