Copenhagen Sprint 2026 Preview | Route, Startlist, Favorites
Copenhagen Sprint 2026 brings the WorldTour peloton back to the Danish capital for the second edition of this city-center sprint race. Jordi Meeus won the inaugural event in 2025 on a course where tight corners, bridge climbs, and harbor-side wind exposure disrupted traditional lead-out trains.
The 2026 field should attract the strongest WorldTour sprinters using the race as a pre-Tour speed test. Jasper Philipsen and Tim Merlier bring pure sprint power. Dylan Groenewegen is dangerous in any bunch finish. Biniam Girmay has the tactical sense for technical finales. Meeus defends as the only winner of this race. Magnier could surprise if the final kilometer opens up for an opportunistic rider.
