About French Cyclocross Championships
The French Cyclocross Championships are the national title races in cyclocross, held over a weekend in January by the Fédération Française de Cyclisme. Titles are awarded from under-17 to elite over two days, and the elite women and the elite men race on the Sunday. The championships go to a different town each winter: Camors in 2024, Pontchâteau in 2025 and Troyes in 2026.
The list of French cyclocross champions begins in 1902 with Ferdinand de Baeder. Francis Mourey holds the men's record with nine titles between 2005 and 2016, ahead of Clément Venturini, André Dufraisse and Roger Rondeaux with seven each. Since 2000 Laurence Leboucher, Maryline Salvetat and Caroline Mani have each won the elite women's title five times.
