Stage 4 of the 2027 Tour de France Femmes runs 123 km from Le Touquet-Paris-Plage to Calais on Monday, August 2, the first stage in France, along the Opal Coast. ASO lists it as flat, with about 1,580 meters of climbing.
The Côte du Cap Blanc-Nez, 900 m at 7.7 percent, comes about 12 km from the finish, according to CyclingUpToDate. The coast is open to the wind, and a crosswind can split the bunch before that climb.
Calais hosted a men’s stage finish in 2022, when Wout van Aert won stage 4 from Dunkirk. There is no rest day in the women’s race, so the peloton spends the Monday after the London time trial on the road.
