Bredene Koksijde Classic 2027

The 2026 race, on Friday, March 20, went from Bredene to Koksijde over 203.4 kilometers. Three riders went up the road first, and after the laps over the Baneberg, Monteberg and Kemmelberg a group of six formed with 68 kilometers to go. With little wind, echelons formed only briefly on De Moeren, and the sprinters' teams began to chase the six, who were one minute ahead.

Five of the six still held 12 seconds going into the last 5 kilometers. The peloton could see them with 2.7 kilometers left, and Henrik Pedersen tried to go on alone. Cedric Beullens closed the gap to him and attacked in turn, and was caught with 1,600 meters to go.

Edward Theuns, the 2025 winner, launched his sprint at the final corner with 300 meters to go, which was too far. Dylan Groenewegen was on his wheel, came around him and won, his second win of 2026. Pascal Ackermann, the 2019 winner, was second, ahead of Pavel Bittner in a photo finish. Groenewegen said he had wanted to go with 300 meters left but waited until 200, because he had gone too early two years before.
