Ardèche Classic 2027 preview
The Ardèche Classic 2027 is on Saturday, February 27, the day before the Drôme Classic. It is a one-day race of the UCI ProSeries, entered on the calendar at Guilherand-Granges, the town where the 2026 race started and finished. The organizer has not published the route or the start time.
Paul Seixas won the 2026 race, the 26th edition, by 1 minute 48 seconds, his second win as a professional. Matteo Jorgenson let go 42 kilometers from the finish, and Seixas went on alone. Jorgenson had been the only rider to hold on when Seixas accelerated, in a race that broke apart on the climb to Saint-Romain-de-Lerps.
Second and third place went to Jan Christen and Lenny Martinez in a sprint, with Jorgenson fourth in the same time and Mattias Skjelmose fifth at 2 minutes 7 seconds. Only six riders finished within three minutes of Seixas, and the tenth was 4 minutes 21 seconds behind. Romain Grégoire, the 2025 winner, came in 22nd at 5 minutes 22 seconds. A day later he won the Drôme Classic in a two-man sprint with Jorgenson, and Martinez was third there as well.
