Giro d’Italia 2027 route overview
The route is new every year and has 21 stages. The 2026 race ran from Nessebar in Bulgaria to Rome: 3,469 kilometers with 48,700 meters of climbing. The highest point of each edition is the Cima Coppi, a title the Stelvio takes, at 2,757 meters, when it is on the route. The race is held in May, and snow took the Stelvio off the route in 1988 and 2013. Two recent editions were decided at the very end: the 2020 race in the final time trial in Milan, and the 2025 race on the second-last day on the Colle delle Finestre, an 18-kilometer climb whose last 8 kilometers are gravel.
This edition has no stage pages yet.
