2026 edition canceled
The 2026 Herald Sun Tour Women did not take place. The organizers announced in April 2025 that the men's and women's races would return, and the UCI put them on its 2026 calendar. In October 2025 the organizers said the tour would not be held, because the climate for sponsorship and business had made it unviable. The women's race was last run in 2020, when Lucy Kennedy won.
