Liege-Bastogne-Liege Femmes 2026 favorites, route, and how the race could be won
The tenth Liege-Bastogne-Liege Femmes lines up ten climbs over 156 km on April 26. Kim Le Court defends her historic 2025 title. Demi Vollering, Lotte Kopecky, and Elisa Longo Borghini lead the favorites. The Roche-aux-Faucons will likely decide the race.
Liege-Bastogne-Liege Femmes 2026 celebrates a decade of women racing La Doyenne with a route built to match the occasion. Ten climbs over 156 km from Bastogne to Liege include Wanne, Stockeu, Haute-Levee, Rosier, Maquisard, Desnie, La Redoute, Forges, and the decisive Roche-aux-Faucons. Kim Le Court became the first African cyclist to win a Monument in 2025, and returns to defend. Demi Vollering, the two-time winner, is the pre-race favorite. SD Worx-Protime has multiple options with Vollering and world champion Lotte Kopecky. Elisa Longo Borghini brings Italian Classics pedigree, and Kasia Niewiadoma adds another GC-level threat. The final climb at Roche-aux-Faucons (1.3 km at 11%) with 13 km remaining is where the winning attack usually launches.
