Région Pays de la Loire Tour 2027

The 2026 race, the fourth edition and the one in which the men's race moved up to the UCI ProSeries, had three leaders in its four days, from April 7 to 10. Ethan Vernon won the sprints at Vertou and Les Sables-d'Olonne and led after two stages.

He lost the lead on the third day, when he finished 1 minute 32 seconds behind the winner at Sainte-Suzanne-et-Chammes. Six riders finished together there, and the first three of them were the top three overall that evening: Alexander Kamp, who won the stage, Gabriele Bessega at two seconds and Antoine L'Hote, then with Decathlon CMA CGM, at four.

The last stage went from Brûlon to a city circuit in Le Mans, ridden five times, with the Côte de Gazonfier on it. It was the fourth year, in four editions, that Le Mans hosted the final loop of the race. L'Hote was first over the Gazonfier at its fourth passage, 164.1 kilometers into the 179.5-kilometer stage, and first at the finish, three seconds ahead of a group of four, with Corbin Strong second on the stage and Kamp fourth. Bessega lost more than ten minutes that day.

Those three seconds and 13 more in time bonuses turned L'Hote's four-second deficit into a win by 12 seconds over Kamp, with Strong third at 18. It was his first win as a professional, and he won the young rider classification as well.
