The 2026 Škoda Tour de Luxembourg begins and ends in Luxembourg City, but it is the country’s changing terrain that gives the race its shape. The organizer lists five stages across more than 700 km and more than 11,000 meters of climbing. Stage 1 links Knuedler to Fëschmaart in the capital, while the route then moves through Differdange, Junglinster, Wiltz and Diekirch before the decisive middle-of-the-week test.
Stage 4 is a 20.4 km individual time trial in Ettelbruck, a clean measure of form in a race otherwise built around repeated changes of gradient. The final stage runs from Mersch to Luxembourg-Limpertsberg, so the overall result should remain exposed until the last afternoon. The structure rewards the rider who can absorb hard terrain, limit losses in the time trial and stay sharp on a city-bound finale. It is a five-day race with little room for a passive approach.
