Ronde van Brugge Women 2027 preview

The Ronde van Brugge Women 2027 is on Thursday, March 25, in Bruges. The organizer has not published a route or a start time.

The 2026 race, the ninth edition, was 143.7 flat kilometers from Bruges to Bruges on March 26, the day after the men's race. It was cold enough for riders to blow on their hands, no breakaway formed, and hardly anyone attacked.

So it came to a bunch sprint, and it went wrong for the rider everyone watched. Lorena Wiebes's teammates had used up their strength too early, she was alone and boxed in over the last meters, and she finished ninth. A crash at the edge of the peloton in the last kilometers took Charlotte Kool out of the sprint.

Carys Lloyd did not wait for the others. The Briton, 19 and in her second season among the elite, started her sprint first and held it to the line, ahead of Elisa Balsamo and Nienke Veenhoven. It was her first win as a professional, for Movistar, and no younger rider has won the race.
