Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift 2026 preview

The 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift runs from August 1 to August 9 with three opening flat stages in Switzerland and eastern France, a Beaujolais time trial, Mont Ventoux on stage 7, and a short mountain finale in Nice.

ASO has given the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift a route that grows tougher in layers. The race begins in Lausanne, spends its first three stages on officially flat terrain, and then starts tilting harder through Dijon, the 21 km Mâcon to Belleville-en-Beaujolais time trial, and the hilly run into Tournon-sur-Rhône.

The race then shifts decisively upward. Mont Ventoux is the headline finish on stage 7, stage 8 runs from Sisteron to Nice, and the final day is not a parade but a short mountain stage around Nice. That closing structure means the overall should still be live deep into the last weekend.

The current Local startlist is still partial, but it already includes enough high-end names to make the route compelling: sprint pedigree for the opening block, major GC depth for Ventoux and Nice, and experienced time-trial specialists for the only race against the clock.

2026 outlook

The central storyline is whether the first half of the race stays controlled enough to let the climbers settle everything at Ventoux and in Nice. The route says yes in theory, but the mix of flat stages, a hilly middle block, and one decisive time trial gives aggressive teams several earlier openings.
