The Under-23 men face 31.3km and 197 meters of climbing. That distance demands more than an explosive opening: the winning ride needs a long, smooth effort through the waterfront and park sections, then enough precision to carry speed back into central Montréal. It should reward riders who can hold their position under fatigue rather than simply produce the biggest first ten minutes.

Riders to watch: Canada selected Carson Mattern and Jonas Walton for the time trial, and the United States named Ashlin Barry and Kade Kreikemeier. They arrive as serious reference points, but the UCI and organizer have not released a complete event roster.
