The 2026 race was 186 kilometers long, between Deinze and Nokere. An early breakaway with Jelle Harteel in it was caught in the finale. With 14 kilometers to go Alec Segaert attacked and built a lead of almost half a minute.
Segaert was caught on the slopes of the Nokereberg, in the last meters of the race. Jasper Philipsen chose his moment to start his sprint and went past the exhausted Segaert to win, with Jordi Meeus second and Juan Sebastián Molano third. It was Philipsen's first win of the season, which had started with difficulty.
