The elite women start in Brossard before reaching Montréal and eight laps of the 13.4km Mount Royal circuit. The 180.4km route carries 2,570 meters of climbing, built around Voie Camillien-Houde, Chemin de la Polytechnique with ramps above 11 percent, and the rising Avenue du Parc finish. It is a race for a rider who can climb repeatedly and still make a clean final acceleration.
Favorites: Demi Vollering gives the Netherlands its clearest climbing card. Lotte Kopecky has the punch to make a reduced finish her own, while Kristen Faulkner, Elisa Longo Borghini, Puck Pieterse and Canadian Magdeleine Vallières Mill fit the course in different ways. The UCI has published official entries for this event.
